ASEM Forum & Exhibition on Tourism Investment and Cooperation

Approved by ASEM High Level Meeting and the Chinese Government, ASEM Forum & Exhibition on Tourism Investment and Cooperation will be held from October 19-22, 2006 in Yantai, P.R.China. The event aims at strengthening the relationship between Asia and Europe, promoting the increase of investment and trade for the co-prosperity and development among ASEM members through exchange and cooperation in tourism industry. This is the first large-scale activity organized within ASEM framework in the tourism and trade sector. The event is an active measure the Chinese government has taken in positive participation in the process and for the promotion of ASEM economic cooperation.
